7.When to use Agile

Adopting agility could be dangerous for a company unless the appropriate studies  have been carried out. Studies should identify guidelines when a company should adopt agile manufacturing. These should be carried out by the right people, being developers and customers, as well as experienced consultants in the agile manufacturing field. Agility should be implemented:

• When rapid changes in the customers requirements produces pressure upon the company’s production and needs to respond fast.

• When the customer requires the requested product within a fixed time frame.
• When innovative and new technologies give rise to emerging requirements.

After each project the company needs to evaluate if it have reached the desired directives such as its objectives, goals, and deadlines.[11]
